People's Artist of Russia

Well-known musician B.Dobrokhotov wrote the following in one of his reviews about People's Artist of Russia, Professor Emilia Moskvitina, who used to be a student of famous Vera Dulova: “Moskvitina's style is neither romantic nor classical, it's rather impressionistic; anyway its essence is to portray a line of passing images, sentiments, multi-colour palette of sound”. As a student of the Moscow Conservatoire he won the first prize at the All-Union Contest of Music Performers, later she twice became a laureate of International contests in Israel (second award) and the USA (gold medal). She became firmly established both as a soloist and a chamber musician at home and abroad. She has recently release four solo CDs: “Masterly Music”, “Chamber Music”, “Everlasting Music” and “Popular Music”. She played her harp in many countries of the world. She played together with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Milano Symphony Orchestra, London Chamber Orchestra, at the festival “Shlezvig-Golshtein” she played with the chamber orchestra “Virtuosos of Moscow” headed by Vladimir Spivakov, took part in the festivals in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and other countries.

Emilia Moskvitina was the only one among Russian performers who took part in the Mozart Festival in London, where she performed with a famous flutist Helen Duran. In domestic and foreign reviews she is renowned for her impeccable artistic taste, her ability to use all her masterly art for a single artistic goal. Abroad he is often referred to as Russia's Golden Harp. In 2001 she was awarded “The Order of Honour”.

The student of Professor Emilia Moskvitina of the Russian Academy of Music named after the Gnesins have become soloists of the world's leading orchestras. In 2003 at the International contest of harpists in Israel her student, sixteen-year-old Barbara Ivanova won the First prize, leaving behind lots of strong and experienced performers.
