The Orchestra's soloist

He was born in Moscow. From the age of ten he began playing in amateur brass bands and at the age of 14 he went to a school of music in the class of baritone and later in the class of trombone of E.V.Zhukov. In 1978 he entered the music college by the Moscow Conservatoire in the class of M.N. Turusin, and in 1984 he was enrolled to the Moscow Conservatoire in the class of Prof. A.T. Skobelev. In 1988 he played in the brass band of the Bolshoi State Academic Theatre, and later the same year as a result of a competition he was offered to play in the Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow State Philharmonic Society of D.G.Kitaenko.

In 1991 he became an artist of the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra and since 1996 he became a concertmaster of the trombone section of the Orchestra
